exFat for Android

Are you wondering why you can't copy more than 4gb of a single file on a micro sdcard? Its because your're sdcard is formatted to a Fat32 file system which  is the default file system for micro sdcard. A Fat32 limit only up to 4gb of a single file to be stored in an sdcard.  So if you're copying an HD movies that are morethan 4gb of file, it will not be copied. Unless you format you're sdcard through a computer to an exFat file system..  An exFat file system is a Microsoft file system optimized for flashdrives that can be used where the NTFS file system is not a feasible solution due to the file size limit of a standard fat32 file system.

So if you are planning to copy a large file of data in the future that is morethan 4gb, specially HD movies, I suggest to format you're micro sdcard to an exFat file system to avoid incompatibility or error that may occur in the future.

Failed To Connect To Windows Service

Failed to connect to windows service is a windows 7 bug that happened after installation of windows update. This bug automatically fixed itself after two to three proper rebooting of  the PC.  One problem cause by this error is Windows Aero theme has been disabled. You cannot set any windows aero theme because all aero themes has been disabled, you cannot select it because it appears gray in the Control Panel personalization. You can only select Basic and High Contrast themes. Another problem with this bug is that using right click on the desktop takes time almost 2 minutes before selection appears. Also you cannot login to Guest account if this error occur."Windows Could Not Connect to Sens Service". Then the Windows will totally blackout. Sometimes if it return to user account selection and selecting guest account again, if login to guest account is success, means the problem is fixed temporarily. Now you can login lo any administrator user account of your choice-the Aero theme is perfectly working. But not after you restart the computer.

Fixing this problem doesnt work always. I found out that stoping the THEMES service and starting it again fixed the problem of AERO theme as well as the Failed to connect to windows service error after login. But it's only temporary because the problem comes back again after restart.

Another solution is using the comman prompt as an administrator. Go to browser C:\windows system32\. Inside that folder path type NETSH then press enter, type WINSOCK RESET then hit Enter, and then RESTART your Computer.

If it doesn't fix your problem, this hotfix is came from microsoft. You can download it here. Perhaps these will solve your problem.Failed To Connect To Windows Service Hotfix

Where Can You Find the Start Menu\All Programs in Windows 8 and 7

From windows 95 to Windows XP, we can see the Start Menu at the left bottom side of our desktop but not anymore in windows 8 because it replaces with Metro Style. Installing older games, does not create shortcut on the desktop and sometimes does not show inside the Metro Style of windows 8 such as when installing Microsoft Office 2013.  But using a shortcut, you can still acess the windows 8 start menu\all programs by creating a shortcut.

Here's how:

On your desktop, right click on an empty space, select New then select shortcut.Under the "Type the location of the item:", type this path "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs". Press Next then type the name of the shortcut say "start Menu-All Programs" and press Finish. That's All.

To make it visible open the shortcut you've just created, right click on an empty space select View then select Medium Icons.

There is another method. This method will make your desktop look likes you have a start menu.
1.Right-click on the Taskbar and click Toolbars and then New toolbar
2. Paste this path in the Folder text Box C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs then press select Folder button.

Please I apologize if you find any wrong grammar in my blog.

If you find this helpful, please don't forget to say thanks.

The Windows Media Center Virus

As you open your computer, all executable (.exe) program have been redirected to Windows Media Center.  This means that any program that you want to open , the Windows Media Center will be open, not the program you want to open. Although this may not be so destructive since it did not modify your executables or any document file but this can get you headache.

I encounter this virus last week from a friend laptop. I search for online solution and here's I found. From the website http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-363335-windows-media-center-virus . Just download the program, right click then Merge in windows 7 or 8. In Windows XP, just double click it then install then restart your computer. If the icon is in Windows Media Center file, open the command prompt, type regedit then browse these tree folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ FileExts \ .exe  and finally, delete all contents which are associated with Window Media Center.

Thanks to sieuchuoi...for this solution.

The Power of A Torrent

Today, movie creators, programmers and software developers have lost a lot of money due to torrents. You can have a copy of movies a day after it has been show in cinemas and a DVD rip or a BlueRay rip after the movies DVD and BlueRay copy has been out to the market. You can have a software application with crack or serial included using the torrent or play latest games without even buying it from the store. You just have to know how to READ, UNDERSTAND and FOLLOW instructions specially when working with crack and keygen. Also you have to risk because other cracks have a hidden virus waiting to be installed.Well, what should you do? Just download a uTorent program or a BitComet application from the internet and install it. Then goto www.torrentz.eu. It's a site links to all torrent site online such as piratebay, h33t, kickasstorrents, rarbg, torlock, extratorrent, torrentbit, vector, fenoy, torrenthound, fulldls, seedpeer, torrentzap, torrentdownloads, torrents.net, bitsnoop, 1337x, newtorrents.info, katmirror.com and many more. Just select the link that has a greater number of seeders for faster downloads and for the movie enthusiasts, always select those uploaded by YiFY because I can assure you that, it's a good quality.

What is a Virus?

Here in the Philippines, I usually encounter people specially those that did not study computer tend to used the word "Virus" even the problem is Hardware faulty wire, power supply failure, or dust. Let me tell you what is a virus? A virus is a software program created by programmers not to help but to destroy, misplaced, or delete your hard work data and files on your PC. It is usually a resident program hidden in memory waiting for a user intervention through commonly used command or time triggered to be activated or just a simple file from disk waiting to be open and reproduced itself.

Some virus also destroys your hardware specially BIOS the first program run by your computer before Operating Systems loaded, and other's reset and shutdown your PC repeatedly.

Nowadays, the virus that I always encountered is the virus that targeted flash drive to propagate themselves. When a PC is infected with this virus, the flash drive that will be inserted to the PC will be compromised by setting the real folders attributes to hidden and set it to system folders and creates the same folder name in which it's true identity\is not a folder but an executable file with an icon of a folder.  That folder when opened by a user creates a memory resident program to the target computer and opened the real folders linked to it and checked if flash drive inserted is already compromised. Every newly folder created in a flash drive by a user is hid by the virus and creates a copy of itself with a name the same as the newly created folder.

ESET Nod32 antivirus can clean this virus by deleting those executable folders from the flasdrive resulting from unable to access your files on your flash drive which you may now think that your files  have been deleted by the virus but it's not because if you see the properties of your flash drive, it is not 100% free space. Your files are still there. It is only hidden and set to system folders.

How to unmarked a files and folders attributes as system files and folder? Hidden files can be unhide though windows properties but not system files and folders. It can only be done through the ATTRIB command in the COMMAND PROMPT. That is if you know how to used DOS commands. You can also download a special third party program called FEBOOTI fileTweak from www.filetweak.com. Febooti file tweak Expands Windows property tabs to display additional file properties such as  the Attributes tabs. View file and folder content (copy file list to clipboard). View file and directory description. Manage Creation date, Modified date and Last Accessed date.
Read more: Febooti FileTweak - CNET Download.com http://download.cnet.com/Febooti-FileTweak/3000-2248_4-10466056.html#ixzz2WOEt4N00

When febooti file tweak is installed just show hidden and system file from the folder options in the control panel. To do this, go to Control Panel click Folder Options, Click the view tab, uncheck "Don't show hidden files, folders or drives" and uncheck "Hide Protected Operating System files (Recommended)" and click APPLY. Now open your flash drive and unhide every file and folder or just select it all by pressing Ctrl+A then right click to the files then click Properties then click ATTRIBUTES tabs(you will see this when febooti is installed) then unchecked "hidden", unchecked "system" check "include subfolders" and press OK. Now you have to hide the system folders again because system folders should not be visible to the user by default as it is used by Windows to operates. Go to Control panel then folder options then click view then click Restore Defaults and press OK.

That's it! You unhide your files hid by the virus in your flashdrive. Well be sure that your PC is not affected by this virus before doing everything. Because everything you do will be waste because everytime a folder that is not set to hidden and system attributes will be hide by the virus automatically.

How To Set Folio (8.5x13) Size in Excel 2013

I've been wondering why I can't find the Folio(8.5x13) size in the drop down list of Excel 2013 after installation. But after searching for an answer online...the only reason is that excel unlike in MS Words is dependent on the settings set by your printer. This means that whatever the settings appear by your default printer will also be the settings you will see in the drop down list of your excel page size in page setup. If you don't have any printer installed on your PC and your default printer is set to One Note then you will not see the Folio size in the drop down list of your excel program. You must change your default printer to Microsoft XPS Document Writer for you to see the Folio size in Excel.

If you have a printer driver, you don't need to do this because today's printer driver always have a 8.5x13 page size. But if you don't have one you have to set your default printer to Microsoft XPS Document Writer by going to Control Panel then Hardware and Sound then Devices and Printers if you're using Windows 8. If you're using an older version of Windows, I'm sure you will not find it hard to find and change your default printer in the control panel.
Now if you dont have a printer at home and you want to print it in computer shop, it is better to convert it to pdf format using the save as button, select the pdf in the drop down menu, select advance for an specific page to covert. Why do you have to do that? Even if you already done the formatting of page setup you will surely encounter problem in printing in computer shop since the printer in computer shop is different from yours.
